Once a year, the DGM (Dangerous Goods Management) network sets aside a weekend to do something that matters just as much as the day-to-day work of hazmat packing, crating, and dangerous goods consulting: getting in the same room. This year, that room was in London, UK, where DGM UK hosted colleagues from across our global network for the 2026 DGM World Meeting.
A Truly Global Dangerous Goods Network
DGM isn’t just a name on a building in one city. It’s a network of more than 65 locations spanning over 35 countries, all working toward the same goal: making the world a safer place through expert hazardous materials packing, dangerous goods training, and regulatory consulting. Coming together in person each year can be a logistical challenge, with teams flying in from nearly every time zone, but it’s a challenge worth taking on. The relationships and shared expertise built during the annual World Meetings shape how we serve customers all year long.
This year’s meeting featured a heartfelt tribute to DGM founder Frank Petillon, a fitting reminder of the values that continue to guide every office in the network.
Learning From Every Corner of the Business
Part of what makes the DGM World Meeting so valuable is the sheer range of expertise in the room. Teams shared updates on technological advancements shaping the dangerous goods space, new product developments custom-built for customers, and lessons learned from the unique challenges each regional office faces.
Milestones were celebrated too. DGM Nigeria marked 10 years of operation, a testament to the staying power of DGM’s model in new markets. And our newest office, DGM Turkey, attended its first World Meeting this year, a sign of strong expansion for the network.
